The Spring 2025 season of Gametime Flag Football has officially wrapped—and while it wasn’t our smoothest season logistically, the competition, storylines, and passion on the field made it one to remember. From elite-level plays to breakout squads making their mark, every division brought something to the table.

Let’s break it down.

🏆 PRO DIVISION – AZTECS RETURN TO THE THRONE

After a bumpy regular season with inconsistent numbers, the Aztecs showed up deep and dangerous when it mattered most. With QB lighting it up and the defense clamping down, they stormed through the playoffs and reminded everyone why they once ran the Pro Division.

They shut down a shorthanded No Smoke squad and ran through the top-seeded Suspects, who lost their cool in the moment. The Aztecs are champions again—and they earned every bit of it.

🔥 COMPETITIVE DIVISION – WARFARE WINS ANOTHER ONE

In a tight, two-team division, it was Warfare vs Killa Bees for all the marbles. The game was close early until the Bees lost QB Guy Lopez to injury, and that’s all Dean Palumbo needed.

Warfare’s leader isn’t the flashiest, but he’s proven to be one of the most consistent, smart, and composed QBs in Gametime. Another chip added to his resume. Don’t sleep on Dean or his squad.

💥 RECREATION DIVISION – MSD DOMINATES

This one wasn’t close. MSD stacked with talent and locked in, ran through a tough but still-developing Overtime Elite team in the Rec Division title game.

They looked sharp and unbothered all night. But don’t count out OTE—they’ve got next. Give them one more season, and they might just flip the script.

🔰 ROOKIE DIVISION – PHANTOMS CLAIM TITLE

The Phantoms, led by QB John Ochoa, closed the season strong and walked away Rookie Division champs. They’ve been improving steadily.. This team has a bright future and will be coming back next season ready to prove they’re more than rookies.

😎 JUST FOR FUN DIVISION – RAWDAWGS GET IT DONE

This was one of the most exciting playoff runs of the season. Crowntown Warriors made noise in their debut season, and Cali Buffs proved they’re more than just a clever name—both squads made strong pushes.

But in the end, the Rawdawgs’ experience was too much. They handled high-pressure moments like seasoned vets and walked away with the title.
